Our Approach

The Garrity Group practices a four step public relations process: Research, Planning, Execution and Evaluation.

The Garrity Group practices a four step public relations process: Research, Planning, Execution and Evaluation. This method positions our clients for success by ensuring at each step our approach aligns with the organizational goals of the client.

Research is a foundational element of our approach. It provides the lay of the land, measures existing perceptions, identifies target audiences and guides our work product.
Planning is essential to any public relations approach. It identifies the goals, measureable objectives, strategies and tactics. More importantly, it provides the playbook of how we will exceed expectations.
Execution is where the research and planning come together. This brings the plan to life in a cacophony of activity. Execution takes many different forms: working with reporters, coordinating story angles and pitches, talking directly to target audiences, leveraging client messaging and building relationships through social networking.
Evaluation is the report card based on client successes. Our success measures are developed during the research and planning phase with the client. The evaluation factors are almost always tied to business goals.
