As Public Relations professionals in different stages of our careers and life, each team member has distinct family commitments —from having and raising small children, to grooming and caring for everything ranging from cows to snakes. 

And whether it’s a soccer game or an evening walk with the dog, time spent away from work and with family and friends is supported by written and verbal policies that promote a healthy work-life balance.  

In recognition of our efforts, The Garrity Group has received a gold level award from Family Friendly New Mexico for our family friendly employee benefits. This is the second time the firm has been recognized with the Family Friendly New Mexico award.

Our company wasevaluated ina variety of categories, including paid leave, health support, work schedules, and economic support. Our family-friendly policies include covering 100% of an employee’s health insurance premium; three weeks of personal time off; an employee controlled retirement program that includes matching contributions form the firm; providing reasonable accommodations for pregnant employees; flexible time for parents to attend to their children’s medical or school needs; paid family leave; and ensuring workplaces have proper breastfeeding space and storage.

These policies help to create a positive environment for our employees and demonstrate how much we value their excellent work.
