The Garrity Group helped facilitate a successful leadership transition to ensure long-term stability for the client.

Founded in the early 1970s, the New Mexico Association of School Business Officialsp rovide support and professional development opportunities to individuals providing business management services to New Mexico’s schools. The organization was in the midst of a planned transition of a long-term CEO and asked The Garrity Group to help facilitate the process. Over a four year period, The Garrity Group facilitated the annual retreat which included leadership succession among the many deliverables. Using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic, Time-related) approach, the leadership succession plan, which included a two year follow-up, was implemented as if it was always part of the plan.
