Roots & Futures of the South Valley
August 20, 2025
The Garrity Group Public Relations is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Roots & Futures of the South Valley Pitch Competition, hosted by the South Valley Economic Development Center (SVEDC). For more than 20 years, SVEDC has helped entrepreneurs and nonprofits grow, connect, and thrive in our community.
This unique networking event is designed to build relationships between local business owners, funders, and nonprofit organizations. It’s an opportunity to support South Valley entrepreneurs while also expanding your own connections and client base.
The Roots & Futures Event will take place on Thursday, August 28, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at SVEDC (318 Isleta Blvd SW, Albuquerque), where these participants will pitch their innovative food and beverage concepts:
- Sweet Pea Bakery
- Señor D’s Nutz
- Chai Chai Love
- Flauteria Los Borrachos
- New Mexico Sabor
- Mountain Man Gourmet
- Casa Cocktails
- Dulce Tradición
- Los Alebrijes Cocina Mexicana
- La Doña Dulces
This event is more than a pitch competition—it’s a celebration of community, culture, and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the South Valley forward.
