SunZia Southwest Transmission Line
The Garrity Group first started its work with SouthWestern Power Group and the SunZia Southwest Transmission line in 2018. Our team’s focus was to reinvent the brand, raise awareness and coordinate community outreach along the proposed 520- mile transmission line route.
The largest project of its kind in North America requires unique approaches to sharing a very compelling and beneficial story. The SunZia Southwestern Transmission Line consists of two 500 kV transmission lines and substations. It is approximately 520 miles in length and spans from New Mexico to Arizona to serve power markets in the western United States.
The Garrity Group worked as a part of the SunZia New Mexico team to build awareness about the project and focused community outreach. The Garrity Group worked with SouthWwestern Power Group on raising awareness about the SunZia line through July 2022 when it was sold to Pattern Energy.
